This place suits me perfectly with its free wi-fi, bar area, and non-smoking rooms. The staff once returned my forgotten shower bag, which I remember fondly. Excellent value and I'll be back for the new year!

Ideal stay for solo adventurers
Had a pleasant surprise with tea & coffee facilities plus a microwave in my room, like, who does that? The staff were genuinely friendly, always ready to share local spots for food, felt like a local in no time.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but what I got seemed worth it.

The Kings Arms is a culinary gem! Fresh milk, porridge pots, and even a microwave in the cozy Budget Single Room made late-night snacking a breeze. Plus, the landlady's recommendations for local eateries are unbeatable. I discovered The Godfather just around the corner, serving top-notch Italian goodness. a tidy stay with fab food options nearby.
The shower room had a bit of a damp smell that crept into the bedroom, and the slip mat wasn’t too inviting with its black mould.

The Kings Arms Hotel has a charming pub atmosphere, vibrant decor, and offers comfortable seating areas that are very welcoming to senior guests. The staff were attentive, making our stay feel truly special.
A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would help.

The bathroom had a persistent damp smell, coupled with signs of neglect, like mould on the shower slip mat and cracks in the sink cabinet. One of the pillows was lumpy, and mismatched pillowcases stood out in a room needing a bit of a refresh. It would have been nice if the room had clearer instructions regarding milk supplies, as the open carton in the fridge was a bit off-putting. the bathroom light switched off too quickly, leaving little time for finishing up daily routines. while there were some frustrations, it wasn't a complete disaster.

Checking into the Kings Arms felt welcoming right away. The staff greeted me with genuine friendliness. My Budget Single Room had a comfortable bed, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The room also included a microwave and a fridge, great for late-night snacks. I enjoyed the local recommendations from the staff, especially the nearby Italian restaurant. I faced a few issues. The shower room had a damp smell that drifted into the bedroom, not pleasant at all. The slip mat in the shower had some black mould, which I didn’t feel safe using. For storage, the bathroom lacked counters for my toiletries. With a little attention to these details, this place could be fantastic.

Had a great time with my friends! We explored the local area, hitting up some nice restaurants and enjoyed a drink at the bar, where the staff were super friendly. The room was clean and comfy, making our stay really enjoyable. I'd say great value for money.
The only downside was the lack of a remote for the TV in our room, which was a bit annoying after a long day out.
